signed LUCHONG, inscribed, and with two seals of the artist dated Jimao year（1939） ink and color on paper, hanging scroll Lu Yifei(1908—1997), the outstanding Chinese flower and bird painter and outstanding art educator of 20th century. He is from Changshu,Jiangsu Province. He was professor of China Academy of Art,tutor of postgraduate, Deputy Dean of Xiling Academy of painting and calligraphy, Honorary President of Changshu Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, and an Adviser to Xiling society of Seal Arts,fourth and fifth CPPCC Member.
