|说明：雪山大士，又名瘦骨罗汉，为佛祖过去世修法相。按佛经所载，为渡众生，扫除人间疾苦，释迦牟尼发愿入清静雪山苦行，肉身忍饥，骨瘦如柴，冥想思维，迭经罗刹生死考验，舍身求道，终究参透佛理，得道成佛，以彰显佛教承前启后、继往开来的功德心。此件雪山大士像刀工爽利奔放，大胆而不越规度，剔凿脸部、骨胳筋脉、衣裳褶纹，手法高妙，既使人物神态显得生动，又体现出罗汉修行清心寡欲的性情，可谓精彩有致，为清早期木刻的难得之作。
