signed LUHUI,inscribed,and with two seals of the artist ink and color on silk, hanging scroll Lu Hui was a student of Liu Deliu,and was a member of the Shanghai painting group "The Nine Friends",along with Gu Yun,Ren Yu,Jin Lan,Wu Dacheng,Ni Tian and Gu Linshi,all represented in this exhibition. He retired while still young to Suzhou where he continued to teach and enjoy the company of his friends.
