此玉璧色分五彩，质地坚润，片状，镂雕，两面纹饰相同。璧外左右对琢螭龙，两龙嘴吻璧缘，足尾轻搭璧沿其上，尾微上翘卷曲，身琢网格纹，璧身满饰变形云纹。整器造型生动，厚薄均匀，琢工精细，线条流畅，尤其是沁色，色系分布合理，色阶过度柔和，可谓五彩斑斓。凡玉之出土，沁以五色为上. 故古玉之沁，首重五彩耳，按五色沁，光怪陆离灿烂照人，有花纹者，千不一见。玉最奥秘的境界就是“沁色”，“沁”被作为鉴别断代玉灵魂的重要依据。沁玉是极为珍贵的，因为它的沁色丰富多彩、绚丽斑澜，故而为历代收藏家、鉴赏家所珍爱。然，在诸多沁玉中又以五色沁最为稀少名贵。故行内有云“玉得五色沁，胜得十万金。”以此极言其可贵，可珍！因此，此五彩沁出廓璧属难得一见的精品，极具收藏价值！
