Born in Uruapan, Mexico in 1962, he studied at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in Mexico City. He creates human figures that are extremely dynamic and majestic, yet at the same time look pained and intensely emotional.
