环器取材冰底红花的红缟玛瑙制作而成，质地晶莹剔透，色泽鲜亮红艳。器体作宽边三才圆环形，中部大圆孔，其表面及内外侧各被碾底琢磨出三个平面，分别代表“天”、“地”、“人”，象征着三者的和谐统一。此环切面刀法利落，通体素面无纹，打磨细致，色泽鲜艳，红如朱砂，质如丝绸，肌理如行云流水，品相完美，显玻璃光泽，具有典型的战国至汉代时期风格，色彩较同时期大多红缟环更为精美。系辞》有云：“有天道焉，有人道焉，有地道焉。兼三才而两之，故六。六者非它也，三才之道也。”可见是古代贵族君子才可使用、佩戴之物，十分珍贵。
