此件玉璧以白玉为材琢制而成，玉质细腻油润，通体钉金沁，局部有少许红沁。玉璧正面浮雕两条螭龙首尾相连，宽额小耳，三角形眼，直鼻圆吻，五官聚拢于面部前端，额头阴刻“二”字纹，鬃毛飘洒。身形瘦长，四肢向两侧张开，呈攀爬状，巧琢阴线来表现身体脊柱，长尾翻卷，姿态矫健，营造出螭龙强烈的动感。背面装饰四组兽面，采用绳纹交缠牵引，纹样繁复精美，排列井然有序，线条婉转舒卷，工艺精湛，具南宋时期风格。 参阅：同类纹饰可参考《上海出土唐宋元明清玉器》（上海市文物管理委员会编，上海人民美术出版社）P100“六四 南宋 青玉双螭纹璧”（松江区西林塔出土）。
