Grottendieck Bruxelles, signed very fine Ankerchronometer movement, special chronometer balance, moustache lever, No. 306133, exceptionally beautiful Art Nouveau dial with red 12/24, pink gold hands, in very beautiful condition, case with slight dents, in working order. Charles Grottendieck was a jeweller and watchmaker of large reputation in Brussels. In 1890 he was appointed watchmaker to the King and Queen. His pocket watches were ordered only from the best manufactures, mostly Patek Philippe, LeCoultre & Cie, Longines and Vacheron Constantin.
