A canteen of Garrard & Co silver cutlery and flatware for eight, Sheffield, 1958, comprising one hundred and thirteen items, weighable silver 78oz, together with a pair of continental 800 standard fish servers 7oz, housed in a Garrard & Co freestanding walnut two drawer canteen, 71cm. Condition Report Eight each of the following: Silver handled steel table knives and desert knives, table forks, dessert forks, dessert spoons, teaspoons, egg spoons, fish eaters, dessert eaters, coffee spoons and soup spoons. Four serving spoons, pair of sauce ladles, pair of preserve servers and a pickle fork.Overall condition is quite good, commensurate with age and mild use, however some of the table fork tines are showing signs of wear and one knife blade has a nick and a few of the tips are a little blunt. Minor surface scratches in places, more visible on the dessert eaters.
