蒜头瓶为明清时期景德镇窑常见的一种瓶样，仿自汉代青铜蒜头壶。蒜头口、束颈、溜肩、圆腹、圈足，因瓶口似蒜头而得名。状如蒜头而颈略长，亦可称之为虎爪瓶。这件蒜头瓶胎体细腻，造型规整，釉面清亮，通体以青花绘纹饰，显得轻盈挺秀。通体以青花为饰，口沿下装饰草叶纹，颈部装饰旋纹，腹部主题图案绘山水庭院，江中绘有小船，船上座有两人垂钓。画面意境幽远，构图优美，用笔似线描，体现了当时匠人们的绘画技巧，具有很高的艺术水准。
