墨床，亦称墨架、墨台，为在研墨时稍事停歇，磨墨处湿润，以供临时搁墨之物。墨床呈几案式，正面浅刻花卉纹为饰，线条流畅，边沿饰回字纹，两侧足内卷，小巧可爱。文献中关于墨床的记载始见于清代，又称墨架、墨台，是专门用来承搁未干墨锭的小案架，因墨磨后湿润，乱放容易玷污他物，故制墨床以搁墨。本品玉质上乘，造型秀巧，线条圆润，深浅浮雕的技法纯熟，纹饰层次分明，古朴而精雅，颇具文人意趣。
