此器撇口，圈足。釉面均匀，釉色莹润。内外施祭红釉，口边自然露出白色胎釉，俗称“灯草边”，红白对比分明。足内施白釉，阴刻双圈纹，内刻“大明宣德年制”六字二行篆书款。该盘造型规整，胎质细腻，釉色莹润均匀，款识坚挺有力，是为祭红釉瓷器中的精品。
