Kangxi mark, 19th century Finely potted in the domed 'taibai zun' form, the sides covered in a variegated glaze of rose and pale yellow hues, the base with a six-character mark in underglaze blue, the neck replaced with a metal mount securing an inkwell with a hinged cover surmounted by a pale celadon jade openwork finial in the form of tree shrews and bats, clear glass inkwell liner, metal stand. 5in (12.7cm) diam.
