A German silver kettle and Burner, A lobed plain round compressed model, the fluted spout with foliate decoration. The two-sided supports decorated with applied shells and garlands to place on the burner holder. The swing handle part ebony. The detachable cover with flower head and leaf finial. The burner with conforming scrolled leaf decoration. With trivet (possibly originally with filter). Probably Germany, first half of 19th century. 800/1000. Also struck with E for "étranger" for foreign work, used in Belgium from 1830. H. of the kettle ca 20 cm.
