A blue and white tea canister with Dutch silver mounts, Kangxi period, ca. 1700, China, Decorated with a scene of two ladies, one holding a fan while the other is watering a potted plant. On the other side two ladies standing by a table, one of which is holding a rabbit. Marked with an artemisa leaf. H 17 cm (including silver lid). Possible damage covered by the silver lid (although no evidence of damage is visible from the inside). A fine line in the glaze near the top and a few chips of the unglazed standing rim. No restoration.
