A large mixed metal wall plate, signed Yoshiyuki, Meiji period, 19th century, Japan, Featuring a monk being confronted by a small oni (devil) holding a snake. The figures in high relief and inlaid with various patinated and gilded bronze fragments. Signed on the front with a two character signature, no markings on the back.
