本品形象乃十八罗汉中的第九位尊者“开心罗汉”，在中国古代罗汉造像艺术中对其单独表现比较少见。开心罗汉即戌博迦尊者，原为中天竺国太子，其弟欲与其争夺王位，他对弟弟说：“我心里只有佛而没有王位”，且打开胸膛，弟弟见其心中果然有一佛，遂不作乱。成道后，世人称其为“开心罗汉”。本尊造像跌迦坐，面相饱满圆润，双目微闭，眼角细长，弯眉高鼻，嘴角微微上扬；大耳垂肩，身披长衫，下着长裙。胸前露一佛陀，表情坚定、自若。人物五官、衣褶刻画细致，神态惟妙惟肖，充分显示了瓷塑成熟期工匠们娴熟的技艺。整体保存完好，特别少见。
