玉勒子呈圆柱体，从两端的孔洞可见明显的工艺特征，为对穿打孔法，两端的孔洞较大，越往里则越狭小。玉勒局部受沁，红沁灰斑，呈色深沉而富有变化，古雅内敛，光素无纹，但玉质之美、沁色之美、原始的素雅朴拙之美扑面而来，令人爱不释手。
