Akkadian, circa 2200-1200 BC. A black stone cylinder seal, decorated with presentation scene. This cylinder seal is pierced for suspension, suggesting that it might have either been used as an administrative cylinder seal or a personal ornament. The seal is accompanied by a copy of a scientific note typed and signed by Professor WG Lambert, Professor of Assyriology at the University of Birmingham, 1970-1993.
