Ramesside period, circa 12921069 BC. A finely modelled swivel ring featuring a gold bezel with incorporating a steatite scarab inscribed with Amun-Ra and a Crocodile possibly a representation of Sobek. The ring possibly of a later period, 22kt gold ring. The swivel ring originated in Phoenicia and was extremely popular across the Mediterranean basin in Antiquity, similar items having been found in Cyprus, Greece, Egypt and Etruria.
