此炉平口，束颈，鼓腹，下承三兽足，张弛有度，大有扛鼎之势。上置覆碗式炉盖，盖面镂雕缠枝莲花卉纹做烟口，中央置狮子绣球为钮，祥瑞可掬。颈部起弦一圈，肩腹部铸塑螭龙双耳，龙姿矫健，躬身为耳，呈回首瞭望之姿。腹部錾刻龙凤纹饰，构图繁密，线条流畅，气势生动，具有“龙凤呈祥”之吉寓。底署「大明宣德年制」楷书落款，字体端正工整，俊逸大方。炉尺寸硕大，铜质精纯，纹饰繁缛，包浆内蕴，色泽古雅，文房雅室陈设美品，不可失之。
