Description

题识：《洛阳名园记》，董其昌书。钤印：董其昌印、知制诰曰讲官
释文：洛人云：“园圃之胜，不能相兼者六：务宏大者少幽邃，人力胜者少苍古，多水泉者艰眺望。兼此六者，湖园而已。”予尝游之，信然。在唐为裴晋公园。园中有湖，湖中有堂，曰百花洲。名盖旧，堂盖新也。湖北之大堂曰四并堂，名盖不足，胜盖有余也。其四达而当东西之蹊者，桂堂也。截然出于湖之右者，迎晖亭也。过横地，披林莽，循曲径而后得者，梅台、知止庵也。自竹径望之超然、登之修然者，环翠亭也。眇眇重邃，尤擅花卉之盛，而前据池亭之胜者，翠趋轩也。其大略若此。
