题识：高克明制。钤印：裁烟阁主诗堂：神形兼备。王原吉题。钤印：养心殿宝鉴藏印：士元珍藏、茞林审定、空不异色、钱氏珍藏、半溪烟云
高克明，宋代绛州（今山西新绛）人，善佛道、人马、花竹、翎毛、禽虫、畜兽、鬼神、屋宇，皆造于妙。工画山水，采撷诸家之美，参成一艺之精，团扇卧屏，尤长小景，但矜其巧密，殊乏飘逸之致。喜幽默，多行郊野间，览山林之趣，箕坐终日，归则求静室以居，沉屏思虑；神游物外，景造笔下。景德中游京师，大中祥符中入图画院，与太原王端、上谷燕文贵、颖川陈用志为画友。尝诏入殿，命画图壁。迁至待诏，守少府监主簿，赐紫衣。
