late 19th century, signed "Fukagawa sei" with orchid above on underside, made by the Fukagawa one of the first potteries to make porcelain wear in Arita, this porcelain dish with underglaze blue and painted with green, iron red, and gilding, the hexagonal sides have barbed edges and are finished in gilt, the landscape is a hermit by lake fishing with small thatched village houses, in the water autumn flowers and maple leaves are visible in full color, the underside edges of dish are painted with a Buddhist motif and bats.
