TWO EMBOSSED TIBETAN GAU
Tibet, late 19th century. Made of brass, copper, and silvered metal. The first of square form, embossed with auspicious Buddhist symbols and lotus scroll within a beaded border. The second of circular form, embossed with a pair of sinuous dragons and deer amid scrolling foliage and enclosed by a beaded border, note the finely incised details, with original fabric straps.
Condition: Good condition with wear, some nicks and dents. The first with few small cracks to backside.
