A CARVED AGATE SNUFF BOTTLE China, Republic period (1930-1949). A translucent agate bottle, the darker colors in the material have been cleverly used to carve a rider on horseback. With a lapis lazuli stopper and turquoise platelet.

Condition: Very good condition with hardly any wear.
Provenance: French collection, acquired in the French auction market in 2005.
