AN IRON-RED, BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLE China, 19^th century. The porcelain snuff bottle decorated in underglaze blue and iron-red with palace buildings and court people in a mountainous landscape within decorative bands with floral motifs. The shoulders with a decoration of bats amongst the clouds, the short neck with decorative bands of geometrical patterns. A symbol of two crossed swords enclosed within a circle and stylized spiral border to the underside.

Condition: Good condition with some traces of use and wear as well as some fritting to the foot rim.
