A BLUE AND WHITE GINGER JAR WITH COVER China, 19^th century. The ginger jar of ovoid shape with an intense, deep cobalt blue painting of two butterflies and a bird amid flowering branches, the cover painted with a blooming plum tree. The shoulder and foot with a geometric band. Apocryphal Kangxi reign mark on the underside.

Condition: Good condition with minor wear and firing irregularities. The cover with a hairline.
