A CELADON GLAZED PORCELAIN ‘APPLE’ WATERPOT China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912- 1949). The globular body tapering towards the unglazed foot and curving inward before rising up to a short cylindrical neck. Covered overall in a shiny celadon glaze thinning at the mouth. The underside with a painted underglaze blue Guangxu mark (1875 – 1908) and possibly from the period.

Condition: Excellent condition with minor pitting.
