A ‘CRANES AND DRAGONS’ WEAVING China, 1900 to 1920. Finely woven in silk thread of unwashed colors with four Buddhist lions and various Buddhist treasures within a square, the border with cranes and clouds, all on a deep blue ground.

Condition: Excellent condition with only few loose threads along the borders.
Provenance: French private collection, according to the current owner originally acquired in China in the 1920s by a family member.
