A THANGKA OF VAJRAPANI
Tibet, 18th to 19th century. Blue Vajrapani standing in alidhasana within a fiery aureole, wielding a vajra in his right hand, the top with protector deities and the bottom with wrathful deities. With a silk brocade frame, mounted as a hanging scroll with metal handles. With an inscription to the reverse.
Condition: Soiling and staining, creases, abrasions, losses, few repairs. The silk brocade frame with small losses and loose threads.
