A GROUP OF THREE SCROLL PAINTINGS DEPICTING BIRDS China, 20th century. Ink and colors on paper, with silk brocade frames and mounted as hanging scrolls. The first depicting a pair of magpies perched on a pine tree above multicolored blooming roses and daisies as well as a mantis, with calligraphy and a seal. The second depicting six sparrows perched on thin branches, with calligraphy and three seals. The fourth with a proud rooster, calligraphy, and a seal.

Condition: Overall good condition with some creases, minor soiling.
Provenance: English private collection. According to the vendor acquired from a Swiss collector.
