TWO JAPANESE ENAMELED PORCELAIN DISHES
Japan, early 20th century
The first a circular dish painted and decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt depicting samurai warriors, marked underneath. The second a lobbed dish printed and vividly enamelled with children at play, surrounded by a border of radiating reserves enclosing floral and stylized bird’s designs, the backside with further floral sprays and a mark.
DIAMETER 18.5 cm each
Condition: Good condition with minor traces of use and wear.
