A RED SANDSTONE FIGURE OF A YOUTHFUL FEMALE DEITY India, 19^th century or earlier. Sculpted as a female deity seated on a pedestal with low relief crosses and beaded rim, richly adorned with elaborate jewelry, the hair neatly tied back, holding a pouch in her right hand.

Condition: Extensive wear, missing left hand, signs of weathering.
