The small netsuke depicting a couple preparing miso in a mortar, the man holding a large pestel and the woman reclining over a water bucket. The details are rendered finely, particularly when considering the size of the carving. The ivory bearing a stunning patina. Himotoshi and signature HOMIN with kakihan to the underside.
