Japan, Edo/Tokyo, 19th century to Meiji period (1868-1912)

The first unusually large depicting Hotei standing, carrying his characteristic cloth sack and a small karako with the help of a gnarly cane and wearing a finely incised long flowing robe. The second with a couple of farmers, signed to the backside. The third portraying Daikoku, one of the Seven Lucky Gods of Japan and associated with wealth and prosperity, holding a large daikon radish, signed underneath.
