|钮钟是编钟的一种类型，合瓦形钟体，凹弧状于，平舞，舞上置钮以直悬击奏，一钟双音。春秋战国大墓，尤其是楚系大墓里往往以钮钟殉葬，以显示墓主人身份贵重，能够享受“钟鸣鼎食”的豪华生活。钮钟被视为先贤制礼作乐的象征，《宣和博古图》中即收录数件周代钮钟，并加考证。又因钮钟是演奏雅乐所必需的重要乐器，历朝宫廷皆有仿制，并在重大典礼仪式上演奏。此玉钟仿制铜钟为形，选取上等青白玉为材，玉质细腻，观之油亮，抚之润泽。圆桶形，腹腰稍宽，下口平齐，上端为交龙纽，用于悬挂。钟身雕双龙戏珠纹饰，龙目凸瞪，张牙舞爪，姿态矫健苍劲。整器设计巧妙，工艺精湛。此品于仿古中融入新意，是一件兼具历史内涵和艺术价值的工艺作品。
