|此盖盒紫檀质，呈桃形，由盒盖及盒身两部分组成。整体造型犹如圆雕而成的硕大桃实，体略扁，甚为逼真。子母口相合，包浆温润，打磨精细。外壁浮雕与百宝嵌工艺相结合饰折枝寿桃纹，桃枝茁壮苍劲，枝叶翻卷，两寿桃硕大饱满，悬挂枝头，栩栩如生。桃在中国传统文化中是一种吉祥之物，传说桃木可驱鬼，桃实食之则可延年益寿，遂成为长寿的象征。
