定窑素以精美的白瓷著称于世，自晚唐至宋代，白釉一直是其最主要的品种，此盘作六瓣花形，胎质洁白细腻，釉水粉白洁净，胎骨极薄坚实，器形娟秀，典雅优美。通体施釉，仅足端无釉，制作考究。盘内有莲纹刻花纹，刀工潇洒写意。
