这件红釉罐圆口丰肩，圈足内窝，胎体轻薄。通体施红釉，呈色纯正，红釉属单色釉，以金属铜的化合物为呈色剂，铜元素的着色力极强，但对于窑内气氛要求较为严格，成品率较低，此拍品釉色似陶器般极具朴实之感，釉色哑光，属稀少之佳品。
