中原铜韦陀为佛教护法神灵，相传其为南方增长天王手下神将之一，因护持护法有功，因此，被广大信众安置于天王殿内，祈愿此尊护持佛法长盛不衰。此尊头戴凤翅兜鍪盔，缨穗飘动，凤翅竖立。面庞丰肥，双目睁视，表情安详，嘴角微微上翘，透出一丝喜庆。身穿黄锁子甲，盔甲雕刻细致，甲叶规整写实，极富装饰效果。双手举于胸前，作合十状。脚蹬乌云皂履，双腿开立，站于台座之上。整像从其表现内容和服饰穿着来看，都带有内地造像的传统偏好，人物表现也是明代以后汉传佛教造像的典型特征，尤其是主尊降妖伏魔、护持佛法的寓意十分吉祥，甚值迎请供奉。
