霁蓝描金赏瓶为同治光绪两朝特有之品种，其中以光绪一朝最为精细。此器撇口，长颈，溜肩，球形腹，圈足。瓶身通体施霁蓝釉为地，浓艳深沉，釉面润透。其上描绘各式花样的金彩皮球花为饰，金彩艳丽，尽显祥瑞吉庆，布局匀称，线条细腻流畅。口沿、肩部、胫部分绘如意、缠枝花、莲瓣纹。此赏瓶造型规整，绘工精巧细致，纹饰华丽，金彩绚丽，霁蓝庄重静穆，交错相映，有富丽堂皇之感，是为陈设佳器。
