壶身如井栏，炮筒式壶流坚挺，嵌入式平盖，桥形钮，栏杆式把，与壶流前后呼应，一捺底。壶身一侧刻翠竹知了，一侧刻诗句“无尘从不扫，有鸟莫令弹。若要添风月，应除数百竿。”，落款“子冶”。壶底钤印“壶公冶父”。此壶，段泥作，包浆温润，文人气息浓厚。
