此炉取经典蚰耳炉造型，形体稳重端庄。炉侈口微撇，束颈，扁鼓腹，圈足。颈肩对饰双蚰耳，炉身光素无纹。底面錾刻“宣德年制”四字阳文长脚篆书款。整体铸造精美，耳与腹身衔接和谐，炉体线条简练，转折有力，皮壳色泽如熟栗，古朴自然，包浆醇厚， 铜质细腻，抚之如肌，细腻柔美，可谓铜质、造型、皮壳、款识无一不佳，为文房案头雅玩之佳品。
