Lea worked as a combat artist for Life magazine during WWII during which he recorded battles in Italy, the South Pacific, the China-Burma Theatre and the North Atlantic and the Arctic. His work during this period earned him a Distinguished Service Award from the United States Navy. Dimensions: 10.25" high x 8.25" wide. Condition Creasing through center, otherwise good.
