Song Dynasty Celadon Meiping Vase W/Carved Lot Petals & Six Moulded Handles (From a Vietnamese Royal Family) - This stunning Song Dynasty celadon glazed vase is of typical meiping form with a slender neck resting on a broad shouldered tall body which tapers off to a shallow ring foot. The vase is decorated with a thick sea green celadon glaze with an ornate carved lot petal motif. The vase is then finished with six moulded handles at the base of the neck. This piecees from the estate of a Vietnamese Royal Family (the family now lives in the United States, and wishes to remain private as they still have relatives living in Vietnam).
