提要：俞钟颖，字君实，一字又澜，一号佑莱（友莱），晚号城南鱼隐、南郭老人。江苏常熟人。同治十二年拔贡，光绪二年（1876年）顺天乡试副榜。光绪九年（1883年）充总理各国事务衙门章京，历升总办章京兼同文馆提调。宣统三年迁河南布政使。到任不久，武昌起义，即成立筹安会，维持官钱局流通银票，以安地方秩序。旋即归里，家居十余年后逝世。着有《学圃老人行年录》《庚申避乱记》等。
