提要：张天放（1893-1984）云南省保山市腾冲县腾越镇人，日本早稻田大学法律科毕业，曾参加辛亥腾越起义和“五四”运动，1918年夏，张天放在昆明创办了云南第一家使用白话文的刊物《救国日刊》。1923年被派为云南代表赴上海参加各界联欢会，受到孙中山接见。在抗日战争和民主革命运动中，坚贞不移。1984年病逝于昆明。
