十八子，一般選用十八顆圓珠，中間加精緻大氣的母珠、三通和墜腳組成，故又稱為十八子。原本是握在手中念經計數的工具，屬佛珠的一種。清代以來，因材質、色澤、雕工精美，手串已成為文人祈福納祥、把玩珍賞之物，也是互相饋贈的禮物佳品。
此件十八子手持由沉香珠，翡翠隔珠,珍珠及碧璽墜角串聯而成，主珠為上等沉香，珠體圓潤，大小相若，間有翡翠隔珠兩顆，其下結珠與翡翠佛頭相連。佛頭左右栓有絲線連接水晶背雲及綴角，其紋飾刻畫細膩，獨具匠心。此件手持質地深邃晶瑩，潤澤明朗，質感濃重，古樸清雅，精美脫俗，不可多得。來源：名古屋私人舊藏
