共箱 款識 品相良好
鏤空銀薰球是一種銀制球形薰香器。球中心有燃香的香盂，由兩個持平環支起，安裝時使通過盂身的軸與內外兩環的軸互相垂直並交於一點。在香盂本身重量的作用下，盂體始終保持水準狀態，無論薰球怎樣滾動，香火總不會傾灑，它的作用原理與現代航空陀螺儀的三自由度萬向支架相同。據《西京雜記》說，西漢末年長安巧工丁緩製作出“臥褥香爐”，其制“設機環轉運四周，而爐體常平，可置之被褥”，可見它的構造與薰球相似。
